Clamping head CMT 796.
The CMT 796 clamping head is intended for the possibility of using router cutters on a table milling machine. Mounting the clamping head is very easy.
ER20 bushes not included!
The CMT 796 clamping head allows us to use router cutters on a table milling machine.
Next to the clamping head we need ER20 bushes, which are not included.
Mounting the clamping head is very simple:
- unscrew the screw on the top of the spindle,
- remove all spacer rings from the spindle,
- screw the clamping head into the borehole where the screw was,
- unscrew the nut on the clamping head and insert the bushing that will fix the router cutters,
- screw the nut on the thread,
- insert the router cutter into the borehole of the bushing,
- use a wrench to tighten the nut to fix the router cutter in the clamping head.
