The plug cutters are used for making plugs which are intended for patching defects in solid wood. The plug cutters with a diameter ranging from 8 to 50 mm are available.
The plug cutters are made of alloyed steel and they each have four, five or six blades.
Due to the quality material and excellently designed blade geometry, we can make plugs out of soft as well as hard wood.
The cutter is used on horizontal and vertical boring machines, which allow a drill bit shank of at least 13 mm (for making plugs with a diameter of up to 30 mm) or 16 mm (for making plugs with diameters of 35 and 40 mm).
