CMT 796.002 is a clamping head that allows us deep milling with classic straight bits and spiral bits. It is very easy to use, you clamp the stem of the clamping head into the clamping head of the cutter, and at the end you clamp the router cutter.
CMT 796.002 is a unique milling tool when the straight router bit is too short and the desired depth is not reached.
This tool can come in handy when aligning workpieces with a hand router cutter.
We have 3 different clamping heads with different clamp diameters.
